    Homemade Dream Catcher

I made Ava a dream catcher out of supplies that we had around the house.

I put together a collection of fabrics, ribbons, yarn, a crocheted flower, and a circular Tupperware lid. I utilized some of Ava’s beads, and feathers from her craft box.
First, I cut out the center of the lid, and then I set to work weaving the yarn into a web structure. Then I used the web for weaving the yarn in a circular pattern. Before I covered all of the blue of the lid I stitched the strips of fabric to the bottom of the catcher. Then I completely covered the blue rim of the circle.

Once the yarn part was complete, I stitched strands of ribbon to the catcher, and added feathers to them. I added the crocheted flower to the front of the catcher and a couple of wooden coloured beads.
